Fair

Every year a really popular event called the Environment Fair is held in Dumfries, bringing together all kinds of organisations connected with wildlife, the outdoors, sustainable living, climate change action and Fairtrade. I was helping on the Dunscore Eco stall, where ran an activity for children (or adults!) to make pots out of newspaper and to plant either conkers or snowdrops in peat-free compost.

Here are Susan and Mary, who helped out in the afternoon, and David Bethune, Programme Coordinator with EcoCongregation Scotland.

Earlier in the afternoon, we had taken Sarah to the station with her bike and luggage. Sad to say goodbye, but I will be seeing her next week in London :-)
