Daffodils

The hospital where I work has buildings dated from the 1900’s onwards, the area where I am based is probably 70’s with a real look of the ‘pre fabs’ that popped up all over the place especially schools hospitals and government buildings. The design though was brilliant, a long straight corridor with ward areas coming off the main artery and creating small triangular garden areas. Each triangle is different. This one is full of daffodils, the border heavy with flowers at the moment but the rest of it is crammed with clumps waiting to flower. A lovely sight when your stuck in hospital, whether that’s as a patient/carer or just working a long day.
