The remains of the day

Tulips past their best retain a certain beauty ..... quite often featured on blip.  As the day draws to a close I've turned to them for an EB.

We have had a great day, almost all of it spent at the Junior League match day, this time a home event.  The team played superbly well, winning both matches for the first time.  Against the younger, less experienced Aces Diamonds team they won easily but played compassionately, giving some of our less experienced players - including Jamie - some valuable match play which in turn allowed Aces to rack up their best score of the season.  Against Jaguars, who had beaten us comprehensively in both previous rounds, no mercy was shown.  After a closely fought first half, some inspired play saw Lowriders pulled away to record a high scoring win.  Now we wait to see if we qualify for the Elite 8 stage of this year's championship.
