A Love-ly day

Went for a walk around town today with my other half who wanted a look around some shops.

Confidence levels rising with walking and getting on/off buses. Hoping to ditch the crutches completely in the next few weeks!

It was strange in the fog not being able to see the castle today.

We went to the Amber Rose on Rose Street for an early tea. Got asked by an older lady what I'd done to be using crutches, so I said I'd broken my leg. The reply I got was "Out drinking were you?!" eerm.... NO! Felt quite judged. Didn't think I looked like a party girl!

We then went across the road to Costa where I seemed to totally confuse the girl behind the counter asking for a Peppermint Hot Chocolate - didn't think this was too strange a request!

Since getting home, we've been snuggled up on the sofa watching Dark Shaddows. As much as I love Johnny Depp & Tim Burton I wouldn't recommend this one!
