Life and death

Finally, the first daffodil of the year has flowered at the bottom of the garden. This was particularly nice to see when I got home this afternoon having accompanied my friend to the pet crematorium to bid farewell to her 20 year old cat, Bonnie. She said it really helped having me there and I was glad to be able to do something to help.

In other news, I HAVE WIMBLEDON TICKETS!!! Two tickets for Centre Court for the first Friday. I can’t wait! And how nice it is now, compared to the last time I had tickets, to know that it won’t be rained off because there’s a roof :)
