Feels like Summer

I worked this morning, and left at lunch time. Raced home, and collected Tui the Fat Cat to take him to the vet, as just before I left for work this morning he did a bloody pee on the pile of newspapers. Vet thinks he has got cystitis, but are keeping him overnight to get samples etc.

I came home and collected the kids from After School Care, and we went and got ice creams and went to the park. Didn't leave there until the kids said they were hungry...and lo! It was 6pm, so home we did trot and had a BBQ tea.

It was just lush. This is part of the view from the playground. We had a chicken and rooster keep us company there too, and they were so friendly, letting us pet them. We were also joined by another local mum and her 2 boys, who we've known since we moved here...nice how you don't organise stuff, but it evolves naturally.

Now just for Tui the Fat Cat to get the A-OK and be back home with his family.
