Solace: Day 4

Today was overcast. We made our way as quickly as we could to Burton on Trent as we were due to pick up #2 Daughter and her partner. We got there just in time and I met them outside the station. By the time we'd done some shopping I'd walked quite a long way so we phoned for a taxi to take us back to the canal. NB Solace was moored beside this lovely park with its autumn colours.

Katkatkat was so excited and eager to learn all about how to drive the narrowboat.
