The Universe and Beyond!

In search of some dry going underfoot and rural views! We walked from near Uranus onto and past Neptune! We were of course on part of the Trans Pennine Way. The section from York to Selby follows the old railway line so provided dry and easy walking, it has been laid out to scale of the Universe with scale models of the planets along the route. There was also the feature in the central spot of the montage which I think is a nod to the mining heritage of the area . Another feature or two need some research. I am sure we will return to do this and other section of the trail. Mostly carried out in sunshine, just a little rain at times. Managed to leave my phone at home so have missed out on 8 km of steps and exercise time on the app records :(
