It is usually magpies and crows pecking away at the scraps left on Astro's discarded bones but today a young blue tongue lizard had a lazy breakfast before moseying across the grass.
As this little guy is young enough to have not got the 'head turn and hiss' buso going, I was able to pick him up and have a quick look at the beautiful belly scales and tiny toes and toenails...or are they fingers? (probably not the correct reptile terminology!)
