A Bit Shy

Mr. Peacock, my friend's family's pet, didn't really want to show his full feathers out front, but his beauty was still evident. After a barbecue at my friend's parent's house, where we cooked corn on the cob, sweet potatoes, shrimp, clams, pork, chicken wings (with bbq sauce for the American culture aspect), mushrooms, tangerines, crawdads, and chestnuts, we hiked through her village and up the mountain behind her house. It was a wonderful day.
