Bright Pink
Our BBQ yesterday was my first experience barbecuing shrimp. When I first saw their bright pink underside, I thought my eyes were fooling me, and I was looking at the coals. But really, that is just how they cook. When the underside is bright pink, you flip them over and grill the other side. Too bad chicken doesn't have such an easy, outside color indicator. :)
On our grill, we also have sweet potatoes, mini-potatoes, corn, pork, and chicken wings. One of my friends said afterward, "We've eaten so many wings we can fly!"
