Betsy

It was another lovely morning so I decided to cycle to work. It was quite breezy down by the sea and the waves were crashing, but the wind was behind me so I didn’t need to use any power assistance.

It was really enjoyable, but I can’t say the same for the ride home! I was cycling into 24 mile per hour winds and had to turn Betsy’s power up full to Turbo, and when I stopped for a breather at the Lido, I actually felt quite lightheaded. it’s the first time I’ve had to use turbo power all the way and it was still hard work. I made it though, and in total cycled 15 miles (7.5 each way).

There’s no way I’d have managed the cycle home on a normal bike, and felt very sorry for those people who were as I went past them.

Anyway, Alan’s going to his shooting club tonight and I’m in control of the TV so I’m going to have a quiet night watching catch up!
