This is a panorama shot on my iPhone. You can't see it, but there is a big bald eagle in the tree tops, closest to the lake. I love these brisk, crisp days and Salem and I lost track of time wandering around the paths today. Got to see the blue heron, who was perched atop a 15 foot snag, and had a quick sight of the kingfisher who hangs around here too, plus all the usual lurking ducks and geese. There were even some human kite-sailers today, given that the wind is coming from the right direction (south-ish).
