Cold day in the woods

It has been an odd day.

Hero was lame, when he woke this morning. He probably stepped into a hole yesterday, when he was running with Gollum. We got an appointment with the chiropractor already at 9 am, and he is now back to full health again. 

We went for a walk in the woods after the appointment and then we went home.

I fell asleep on the sofa. I never fall asleep during the day! But I slept for 3 hours. Maybe I needed to catch up on sleep after Crufts. 

I woke at 4 pm and was tempted just to let the dogs out in the garden for a wee, but I pulled myself together and took them for a walk.

A very cold walk in the woods and it was snowing too. I am longing for spring now.
