Tumultuous seas.

I can honestly say I have never seen the seas so mountainous. As you can see the water is right over the prom and the pier. Extra shows view from the top of the beach. The oystercatchers and the turnstones were unperturbed. We did not dare go too close to the water as the breaking waves were engulfing the cars.

Update- the seats and sea front were damaged by the waves here. My friend who was driving said I think we should make a quick exit and she was right.
