Rainbow over St Ives
Our last sunny day, and we went on the train from Lelant to St Ives.
Must be one of the most scenic railways in the country.
Beautiful sunshine. Fairly quiet, although will no doubt will be very busy in a couple of weeks at Easter.
A walk round to all the beaches, and up and down the little narrow streets.
A coffee sat out on the terrace of the cafe overlooking Porthgwidden beach. See the extra collage. It is the one by the beach huts.
Dogs are still allowed on the beaches until next weekend. We watched a few having great fun chasing balls.
Our last pasty for lunch, sat on a bench overlooking the harbour.
Two seagulls were stood nearby, but they had no chance. We were very careful to cover up the pasties after each mouthful!
A walk round the shops and galleries before catching the train back.
Just reached the station and it started raining. Only a shower, but a lovely rainbow, and so I took a few photos as the train set off.
Rather liked this one, and so my blip for today.
A collage of a few of the other photos I took, including one of the turnstones.
Just started packing as we are out for our last evening meal at our favourite cafe.
Sea Drift in Porthleven.
Tomorrow we are staying over with our friends in Somerset, and then home on Sunday.
Not quite sure about the weather forcast...... SNOW!!!!!
I thought we had seen the last of that when we set off almost two weeks ago!
