Stating the obvious ...

but Yes, it really is Ice cold out there. We woke to a few millimetres of snow this morning and the wind is again blowing cold air from Siberia which goes right through you. Zak arrived (See extra - I think he is doing a spot of gurning !) at around 11 am & was collected at around 5 so it was action stations keeping him entertained. I popped out to the chemist & collect some stuff mid morning...it seemed as tho everyone else had gone when I did.....doh !

Many thanks to everyone for your kind comments & encouragement on my future ops ....yes everything will be better but I won't ever be playing football or chasing around too much. This is because the ankle joints are to have extra screws added to the ones that are already there. It will mean that the limited movement that I have now will be completely non-existent. My original ankle fusions (or arthrodeses) were done in the late nineties / early noughties and I had a number of years pain free despite one revision. The current problems began about 8/9 years ago. I could have had something done then, but work was really busy and I didn't feel I could take more time off having had all sorts of other problems including an op on my spine....

Cold with Snow flurries most of the day.

I will catch up with you all later.

Richard
