Today's the day ............................. to unfold

A day of sleety showers, bright sunshine - and lots of rugby.

Well done to Ireland who became worthy winners of the Championship achieving a Grand Slam of wins along the way.  Both Scotland and Wales scraped wins against Italy and France respectively to end up above England in the table.  So, all in all, an absorbing and interesting Six Nations Tournament for this year has come to an end.

These crocuses are on the Green just outside our house and I don't think I've ever seen them looking better.  This spring is taking its time to unfold and is having to cope with yet another lot of wintry weather ..........................
