Gruffalo Paws

Ethan and I had what is becoming a regular weekly playdate with my friend Lesley and her son Logan. We went to their house today and ended up staying for lunch. I let Ethan ride his balance bike down to her house and back and we had a wee stop at the playpark on the way home.

We weren't long back home when Grandpa phoned to ask if we fancied paying a wee visit to him and Granny in Beith. Ethan hasn't seen Granny for a few weeks now, with her not being well and has been asking to go over to Beith. So I quickly packed his Trunki and my case and off we went.

It was big cuddles for Granny and Grandpa from Ethan when we arrived and Grandpa was straight on Ethan duty as it was Grandpa whom Ethan then wanted to do everything with from playing, to helping him eat his dinner, to showertime to story time at bedtime!

We had a few tears from Ethan at bedtime. Granny had lined up lots of our childhood dolls near the end of his bed and I think they were freaking him out a bit. Once I'd moved them, we had a few more attempts at not going to sleep from Ethan but he finally dropped off.
