Bullfinch

A very keen easterly breeze. Some light snow showers, nothing of any significance. I was awaiting a parcel for goods ordered on the 6th March, but it hadn't arrived. I went down to the sorting office just in case it had been delivered, but no one was in and the postie hadn't left a card. No parcel there.

Got back home and then went to buy more birdseed. The seed in the bird feeder hasn't gone down very much this week. With more cold weather on Sunday, at least it can be refilled if need be. On the bird feeder is a bullfinch.

My parcel arrived, so I have yaktrax for icy conditions. Did a bit of bike maintenance, i.e. oil the chain and pump up the tyres. Snowing quite heavily, not lying, while I work on the bikes.

In the afternoon, down to Stockbridge to browse the charity shops. Snow showers interspersed with sunny spells and that keen easterly breeze. For some reason, walked quite fast between shops.

Forecast for a lot of snow overnight. I might be clearing snow of the pavement and not cycling on Sunday.
