What Is More Wonderful Than Water?

Woke up to bright sunshine and fresh breezes - had everything open all day, trying to dry things out. Walked to church on my own, luxuriating in the blue skies, and fields of colour. Inspired homily by the Padre. Mike stayed home just in case the electrician decided to come fit the pump, as he's kept promising... Meandered home, taking photos.

He eventually came just as we were eating lunch, and the pump is now fitted, and working. Quite a complicated job, but the result is like a miracle, and now Mike can stop lugging rain water up to the barrel in the middle of the Land, plus we'll still have water when it stops raining.

Next job (after finishing the electric installation), get a water heater. Water out of a tap = miracle. Hot water out of a tap - unbelievable...
