The Homestead

Taken as I was walking to the health centre to get my dressing changed. Again, I was ignored by both receptionists as one taught the other something on the computer. Oh well, the dressing was done well, and the burn is healing. In the photo, you can see the electric cable going to the pump, hoping to bury it in the ground eventually.

Will be so good to get the place smartened up, but more urgent considerations at the moment - went into Reguengos to buy a water heater. The day became so beautiful, we went for a quick walk with Lula (well, drag/carry/run, he's not enamoured with his collar and lead yet) down to the Lake - it is utterly wonderful to see the water level up high again, thought we wouldn't see it.

More work done on the electrical installation, and I need to start thinking about another article for the local paper...
