Trapped!

With all the major roads from the South Hams of Devon closed, our visitors had no sensible choice but to stay put for another night, in the hope that the thaw, which has begun today, will continue tomorrow.

Even with sunshine, the cold wind has blown snow into deep drifts, which made walking little pugs with little legs quite a challenge. Selfishly, it's been lovely for us having the family for an extra day.

This panorama is of the village dog-walking-field above Start Bay, with the sea gleaming in the late afternoon sunshine. Down here in the sticks snow rarely sticks so I make no apology for blipping it again while I can.
