To Brighten My Day

It has been a lovely mid day with around 25c and lots of sun.

I bought this lovely Phalaenopsis Orchid when I was out yesterday. I only went into to get Cyclamen for my garden in Akaora! This one was on special, so I couldn't resist it.

This morning I had a lovely phone call from my friend in the North island. It was lovely to hear from her. The good news is they are planning to move back to Christchurch to live, by the end of the year. We have known each other since we started primary school together. When I got back to New Zealand after 16 years in London she had just moved up to the North Island... so we only saw each other about once a year.
