Tiny jewel

I found this dessicated beetle carcass lying in the dust in a desert garden.  The irridescent green caught my eye and I stooped to look closer.  It was missing it's head and legs, but was still beautiful and somewhat haunting.  So much in this creation is amazingly  complex and awe inspiring when seen close up.  What a great reminder to wake up and pay attention.
