A quick morning trip...

... to take some bird shots at Harlow Carr Gardens, found some other creatures playing a dominant role at the feeding station.

Besides the squirrels in domineering mode (first extra) there were a number of unwelcome brown rats (second extra) chasing even the pigeons away.

This nuthatch looked to have the best idea, staying well above the ground action. 

I also managed to forget that this was a free entry day. The mention of the word FREE in Yorkshire means 'be prepared to be trampled in the rush'. The gardens became unusually busy, especially for a rather chilly morning.
