Portrait of the day
A meeting that I thought would be difficult went very well. I was in the Arts Council boardroom where this painting of local artist, Basil Blackshaw, hangs. It is about 4 feet square and the pic is zoomed in to about 25% of the canvas. Came out of the meeting into bright sunshine to realise that, apart from some writing which I can do at my own pace, I am free! Went and had a haircut and then had lunch with N in Shu, celeriac soup followed by fried hake. Back home to cut the front hedge and relax for the evening.
