American Goldfinch

We have swarms of these goldfinches here daily, stuffing their little faces with sunflower and Nijer seed. But what interests me about them today is the fact that the males are obviously getting their bright yellow breeding plumage! A welcome sign of Spring - which officially starts today, despite the warnings about snow tonight and tomorrow...
