The other end of Liverpool

Between 1985 and 1988, I was at Liverpool University. I go back there quite often these days - pretty much exclusively to see Bob - but whereas I would once wander all around the city centre, these days I've worn a groove between Lime Street and the newly christened Georgian Quarter.

Today, though, I had a meeting at/on Mann Island, which meant walking from the station through the city centre. To be honest, I hardly recognised any of it. I thought maybe I saw the turning that led to Probe records but I could have been wrong.
