Oh.....

....my lord....on my travels again, this time for a wee trip to the upper chamber. I was quite nervous, but it turns out that Lords are humans too (well, most of them). There was however a curious whiff of humbugs, mothballs and a tangy smell I couldn't quite place.

Watched politics in action as the signal to vote in The House of Commons came through to MPs attending this event in The Lords. Two Scottish labour MPs toddled off next door to vote on an English policing reforms bill, but the SNP MP I was chatting to refused to attend the vote on the grounds that it's really a devolved English matter. I think she's got a point.
