Crocuses

The sunshine has brought these late crocuses out. Nearly all the rest are over now, but these have appeared in a pot of tulips along with one or two dwarf irises. The daffodils are still being very shy, but the warmer weather will persuade them to open in a day or two now. Eventually there's going to be a burst of growth and flowering as the improving light and warmth release the energy that's been on hold all through this cold start.
