Paws for autumn
A breathtakingly magical walk this morning beside the River Earn. The autumn colours were magnificent and crisp following last night's cold snap which severed many leaves from their host and they came tumbling down like gentle rain as I walked along. The ground was strewn with colour too and at last delivered the crispness underfoot which I associate with autumn and which had been so lacking in these past misty days. As I had started out on my walk I noticed one dear old lady trying to catch the leaves as they fell.
I took many, many photos and both dogs had a wonderful time scurrying amongst the leaves and splashing about in the cold water. I particularly liked this shot of Cara in the golden light of the water.
Of all the shots today, however, this one is my favourite as it encapsulates everything good about today. My two chums, golden foliage, clouds and blue sky, reflections and fallen autumn leaves on the paths and river.
I hope your day has been as good.
