Let me in

The snow stopped play a couple of weeks ago meaning the swimming gala heats and final were combined in to one extra long event. A mixed team from school and sadly C's best friend was absent for the event after a nasty fall, thankfully no serious injuries. C swam well but was in events 1 & 31 so poor thing was sat for hours at the side of the pool. We came 5th overall, C was 3rd, just 0.03 sec of second place. It was a tad warm sat on the balcony watching, the pool looked very tempting. No problem cooling down after the event on our walk home in the snow.
