50 Shades

The house was clean and tidy, the washing pile low and the ironing too. My gym class was cancelled and my diary empty till 5. Freedom!

The weather was however miserable, grey, cold & wet and to top it off the forecast of snow is back.

Having dropped C at school, I returned home to add a few layers then found a quiet corner in a local café, ordered a coffee and caught up with a few WI things whilst waiting for my friend to finish her appointment. 2 coffees and brunch later we headed back to mine, I made scones, we chatted, I crocheted a couple more rows if my blanket, another friend joined us for the fresh scones and tea then it was time to collect children, and for me to head to work.
