Gate Latch

In this part of the world binder twine has a multitude of uses. 

In this case, it's a reliable way of shutting the gate and keeping it closed.  Quite attractive really.  

I felt well enough today to take Pepper for a walk in the spring sunshine - it was warm and I could almost have managed without a jacket!

The rest of the day was getting to grips with the menu system on the Olympus camera - it is very detailed and complicated - not at all intuitive. I want to set Back Button Focus but the instructions are so complicated.... very frustrating. 
Anyone managed that and can point me to an easy solution?
