Flower Power
I ought to know what these flowers are as I have come across them before. I'm sure someone will enlighten me.
I was at Waddesdon Manor this morning to do a few photos. There's currently a huge planting of snowdrops taking place - 120,000 of them in a huge swathe near the Aviary. It's one way that Lord R is commemorating his wife who died late December. Teams of volunteers are involved in the this but I pressed the shutter button rather than dig holes. It should be a spectacular sight next year.
I've also been judging this evening at Wycombe camera club. High standard of prints and it went well - they seemed to like my wacky sense of humour. I think I will be invited back.
Amidst all this I had to get packing as we're off to Washington in the morning. I might need a snooze on the plane!
