Spreading again...

Another day of various goings on. The contractor in finishing off spreading dung.
The lorry in to collect the 21 cattle for today's store sale at St Boswells mart. I took the Jeep instead of the Land Rover as my back still niggling away and the thought of an hours drive sat bolt upright with one elbow out the window ( the only way you can drive a defender ) didn't appeal .
They sold ok with the tops making £1260, much the same as last year. Home via Sherriffs at Stow to collect a 6' and a 4 ' water trough which after a bit of seat juggling eventually fitted in the back of the jeep. Then into the contractors to collect the soil analysis results for a couple of fields that will need some lime applied before they are sown with barley.
