Borders at the border....

A day away today. Headed off to Carlisle with an old Angus bull that wasn’t fit to work any more due to an injury. Once he was dropped off , headed across country to Hexham mart where I nipped in to wash out the trailer and have a look at the stuff entered for tomorrow’s machinery sale .
Had my lunch in the mart canteen then headed back up the A68 for home.
Stopped off at Carter bar for the usual dogs leg stretch and photo- this time a border collie and a Border Terrier at the border.
Back home in time to do all the things that had gone undone in my absence , after a 221 mile round trip .
