The beach at Mt Maunganui

A day of sunshine and showers as we visited friends Julie and Lloyd at their holiday home at Mt Maunganui. 
"The Mount" is a busy and ever growing port and one of the most beautiful surf beaches in New Zealand. A strong wind today made it a great spot for the kite surfers seen here from the front lawn.
Better large if you have the time.
