Everyday I Write The Book

That was a slog of a week. At times I felt like crawling under the duvet.

We watched Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistlestop Cafe, which was lovely. I’d forgotten what a beautiful film it is. Kathy Bates and Mary Louise Parker are both transformed in their different eras as the story flicks backwards and forwards between the inter war years and the 1980s. Contemporary morals in both time periods get lambasted be it the stupidity of Klu Klux Klansman or vaginal self examination classes. If you’ve never seen it, give it a go.

This was after the first fifteen minutes of Paddington 2 which we gave up on. Really didn’t get the hype.

Friday now. TG and all that.
