Primroses
I blipped these a while ago, after the snow I think, when they were just getting going. This is the most floriferous of the many primroses dotted about the garden and is now smothered in flowers. The deep egg yellow centres make me wonder whether it has inter-bred with a cultivated variety - most, if not all, of the other primroses here have a slightly less intense centre colour. But maybe it's just a naturally arising variant. We do have one of the sludgy pink ones which definitely is a hybrid I think. I'll have to root it out in case any more like it appear. This one is earning is keep though.
