The room we all head for......

As it was quite dull this afternoon I headed off to Basildon Park to look around the house. There's plenty to see, including a room full of various shells (see extra). However, one room that we all get drawn to so often is the kitchen, the heart of the home it is said. The large kitchen here is a recreation of a 1950's kitchen and today someone had been baking some small Easter cakes there. Naturally I had to try one and I can report that it was very good!
