Diary of an Edinburgher

Lucky dog!

Gym✔️
I managed twenty minutes on the cross trainer, but only Level 0. I was able to pop to the gym without a coat on! Archie and I sat out in the sun with my coffee. It must be spring...

Annemique came to pick Archie up. She always takes him big long walks, and goes to her (or a friend's) flat, so they're away all day. (Photo by Annemique's friend). Great. JR and I popped into town. I haven’t been in town as much for a very long time.

We went into a coffee bar which has good coffee and tempting scones. But the NOISE! Screechy muzak, people shouting above it. I got out my decibel measure app and it was whizzing away up to the orange zone. I don’t know how to use the info, but it sure looks great.

Lunch was beckoning then, and we decided to try a well known Mexican chain. We'd tried it in London several years ago, and everything was just too hot! But this time we chose well, and everything was delicious.

I came home after that, taking photos of the wonderful skyline and fluffy white clouds (Extra). The city looks great on days like this. JR wandered round town for another hour or so.

Annemique came back eventually, having sent a couple of nice photos up the hill. Archie was in manic mood, running around like a mad thing for a while, before collapsing and snoring under the table while we had coffees.

We have a VERY exciting day lined up for Archie tomorrow...
