Water of Leith
High and dry in the long hot day
Lost and lonely every way
Got the flats all around me sky up above
Yes I need a little water of love.
The sun is shining. We potter around until it’s time to go meet Angus for lunch. His flat is relatively tidy, but he’s not cooking - we’re heading to a Mediterranean restaurant in Leith.
The food is excellent and we follow it with a short walk around the docks. It’s warm in the sun, but cold in the shade. Angus admires the industrial feel of the place and talks about party/club plans.
All too soon we’re back in the car heading back home. Angus departs in Dalkeith, returning an amplifier. I purchase a corkscrew at Straiton, but rather than use it I play with Boron’s shredder. And water the polytunnel.
Dinner is reheated fajitas. Then it’s Pearl Harbor.
