A quick turnaround and into Edinburgh with Claire for Roy Harper in the Usher Hall. He’s not as stoned as the last time I saw him, but his stories ramble, his threads fray, and his tuning is still centre stage.

It’s a fun concert, a mix of classics and new songs. The backing musicians are excellent too.
