Bird’s eye view- Stirling

For a change I thought I would post a photo showing a little of the industrial central belt of Scotland.
 
Too often I go for the romantic Scottish landscape but for many of us living in the central belt that is not the reality, though you are only a matter of minutes away from the mountains.
 
 
This shows the Wallace monument with Stirling University on the left hand side swinging down into the flat Carse of Stirling with the river Forth in the distance.
 
The horses are from the nearby riding stables.
