End of the Day

this is a distant view from the end of the drive as the sun was starting to go down. The building in the centre is (love it or hate it) Bucks County Council Offices where I spent around 25 years of my career.

Last night was bad. I didn't sleep as my shoulder was absolute agony all night. It was only at about 9 am that at I started to feel the benefit of the cocktail of tramadol & paracetamol and so I slept in.... C didn't sleep much either - sorry Babe ! I must be very careful tomorrow as we have Z for the day ......we are also seeing cousin S again following my visit to the hospice on Friday. Had a long chat with her sister today ...its such a sad state of affairs. Apparently the issue of swallowing her food has been an problem for some time with her coughing / choking regularly. There has been talk about inserting a feeding tube to her tummy so she doesn't need to swallow, however the Doctors feel that her lungs are now so weak that she could die from the anaesthetic....so its on hold for now. She is due home from the hospice on Wednesday.

Thanks for all of your compliments on C's cake yesterday - apparently it tasted really good & the kids loved it !

So another resting up day for me.

A sunny mild day & the brown bin is out.
