Berry, Berry, Drip, Drop

Apologies for the title but it's very late and I'm very tired so that's my excuse :)

Busy day. Alan out to school. Washing on, dishwasher unloaded and reloaded, kitchen tidied, phone calls made, cereal eaten. All rock n roll here!

Up to Alan's school for 12.30 for the final fitting for his new wheelchair. What a difference. It really is fab! The Bio Engineer was beaming when she got him in it. Alan was beaming too. He looks so comfy and well supported in it and it has a detachable table top.

Home again and made lunch for step dad John and me. Aga toasties. Lovely :) Made the final decision on the menu for Saturday night so placed a Tesco online order. Also sent shopping list to David as he was popping into the Farm Shop on his way home.

Going with tomato and orange soup to start, beef borguignon, baby potatoes, roast potatoes and roasted veg for main and strawberry crumble and key lime pie for dessert. As the night is probably going to run to the wee small hours, there's cheese and biscuits for later just incase we get peckish :-))

Delivery of the rest of our dining room furniture and coffee table and lamp tables for the lounge finally arrived (we ordered them in June!) As ever, no delivery is straightforward. The furniture is fine (REALLY delighted with it infact) but the delivery was over 2 hours late as the lorry had a puncture!

Late dinner and now heading to bed. Sorry that I've not had a chance to catch up with comments. Not sure I will till the start of the week as the weekend is going to be hectic, as is tomorrow (preparation and cooking!)
