A few Wainwrights - some new , some old

With a good forecast for the day we decided to do a section of the Fairfield Horseshoe. Mr.B had been beating the bounds for 14 miles around the parish yesterday and was somewhat weary in the leg so we opted not to do the full circuit. We climbed Nab Scar and then headed along the rising ridge over Heron Pike up to Great Rigg Man. We then descended over the Stone Arthur ridge to Grasmere before ambling back towards Rydal. Four Wainwrights, all new to Mr B and two new ones for me.
