predawn attack

Another rare morning where I was up before the sun (another little skin cancer surgery for hubby). I was not sure this shot would work with the low light, but I think you can see what is going on - a raven is attacking a red tailed hawk.
As much as I admire hawks, I have to give a nod to the sheer gumption of the smaller bird.
Sometimes we all have to step up a go after the big guy.
By the way, hubby is doing fine and is now cancer free :-)
